A workshop of Communication and Social Networking was conducted for the Salesian Sisters of Bangalore Province (Andra, Karnataka and Kerala) at Don Bosco IMAGE from 8th to 10th October. The topics included Media Presentations, Basics of Photoshop, Basics of Digital Photography, Social Networking, Internet and E mail Management and Blogging.
“It was not a lecture on communication but a ‘learning by doing’ remarked Sr. Mercy Thomas, the coordinator of the course, in her words of appreciation on the programme. The sisters were highly appreciative of the content and methodology of the workshop. “It was not a mass communication” Sr. Mercy commented again, “we were given personal attention”. The sisters were greatly impressed by the friendly attitude of the staff and the learning environment of the institute.
Don Bosco IMAGE plans to conduct regular media related seminars and workshops for students, teachers, religious and professionals.

I really appreciate the media workshop . It was very useful. Though the speakers were experts on the topic their explanations were very simple and understandable. Since the theories were always accompanied by the practicals It was enriching and fruitful. A Big thank you to each one of you who helped us during these days.
