One of the greatest disasters that caught the attention of the world recently was the Earthquake in Nepal on 25 April 2015. Don Bosco IMAGE was commissioned by the Salesian Missions, New York to make a visual document of the calamity. By the time we reached Nepal a lot of relief works were already done. The people looked settled and they were already living in small temporary sheds. But the second earthquake on 12th May horrified the people again. We were also caught up, we could see the buildings swing and people running out of the buildings. That night the entire area slept in the open. There were a few tremors at night. The people where once again devastated. We were safe. Don Bosco IMAGE is grateful to Salesian Missions in NY and Nepal Salesians for inviting us to do our part in reconstructing Nepal.
