Don Bosco Image currently has 5 short term courses running to a period of 3 months. They are:
- Scripting, Direction
- Cinematography
- Editing
- Sound Mixing
- 3DX Max
- Maya
- Flash
GENERAL INFORMATION
Qualification:
All applicants to Don Bosco IMAGE must have completed their PLUS TWO. However, we give more priority to talents than academic performance exceptions may be done at the discretion of the institute.\
ADMISSIONS PROCESS
We take great care to review every application thoroughly. The admissions process includes an aptitude test and interview of the applicant. Written notification of your eligibility for admission will be sent as soon as a decision has been reached.
Assessment
The mode of evaluation of the student is a continuous assessment. Each subject will have a total of 100 marks of which 30% is allotted for the internal examination and 70% for semester ending examination.
Breakup of the internal examination:
Lab/Seminars/Assignments 20%
Records
Attendance/Discipline 10%
After the completion of every module the student creates projects. This adds to the portfolio of the student. Selected students projects are also uploaded on our website.
The final assessment of the student will take into consideration all the creative works, academic and otherwise, of the student during the period of their study.
Ongoing tests / examinations are conducted to keep students on the trot with the software’s, as it also helps us to evaluate the progress of the student.
Continuous portfolio
The students are expected to maintain a continuous portfolio of all their works. This could include their creative works, photographs, copies of their internal and semester ending projects, comments from dignitaries, the certificates and awards they have won etc…. They are expected to maintain a uniform format for each category.
Discipline
The students are expected to follow all the disciplinary measures explained in their hand book.
Non co operation in the activities of the institute and non collaboration in the projects of their companions will be considered a serious offense by the student.
Due Dates: Assignments are due on the due date, by the beginning of class, as indicated on the course schedule.
